The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has disclosed that it has concluded the necessary arrangements to start delivering agricultural items, pharmaceutical drugs and cosmetics, automobile spare parts, electronics and electrical parts, computer and accessories, furniture and household items, beverages and assorted food items.
The Post Master General of NIPOST, Bar. Asiwaju Bisi Adegbuyi who was represented by Plateau State Area Post Master Manager Malam Abubakar Danlami Usman stated this in a speech to mark the World Post Day in Jos.
He explained that their target clientele cuts across all classes of customers which include individuals- traders and non-traders, corporate organizations, conglomerates, manufacturing/trading companies and industries among others.
He added that the mode of transportation would be a multi–faceted, hydra-headed and Multi-Purpose terminology, with a large scope of coverage on land (road), sea, rail and air.
