The Bauchi State Government’s approval of the appointment of His Royal Highness (HRH) Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Muh’d Danyaya as the Emir of Ningi has continued to receive more accolades from citizens of Bauchi State.
In the latest message, a lawmaker representing Ningi/Warji Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Adamu Hashimu Ranga, congratulated the emirate and people of Bauchi State for the appointment of the monarch.
Danyaya emerged following the death of his father, Dr Yunusa Danyaya after a medical trip to Saud Arabia on August 22, aged 88.
Representative Ranga described Governor Abdulkadir Mohammed’s appointment of Danyaya as the 16th Emir of Ningi as a square peg in a square hole and well deserved.

In the message, Ranga expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of the emir to deliver on the throne and prayed for him to continue on the legacies of his predecessor who was noted for his peaceful disposition.
The lawmaker urged the new leader “to build on the legacies of his late father in order to promote peace, unity and justice as well as economics development of the people of Ningi and Bauchi State.”
Before he was appointed emir of Ningi, Haruna Danyaya was the Chiroman Ningi and the eldest son to the late father Yunusa Danyaya who died after a brief illness and was buried according to Islam rites.
