NIMASA donates relief materials to Nasarawa IDPs

Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has donated relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) affected by herders and farmers crises and floods across the 13 local government areas in Nasarawa State.

Donating the items to the IDPs in Lafia on Wednesday, the Director-General of the agency, Dr Bashir Jamoh, said the donation was part of the agency’s corporate social responsibility to address the effect of the crisis and flood to the affected persons.

The DG, who was represented by Assistant Director of Seafarers Service, Dr Amos Hosea, said doing this to the vulnerable group was to complement the efforts of the state government.
