Nigerian champions Enyimba International suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Wydad Casablanca in Morocco on Thursday evening in the ongoing African Football League (AFL).
Wydad beat Enyimba 3-0 to send the Nigerian club out of the competition while booking their own place in the semifinals.
Played at the famous Stade Mohammed V pitch in Rabat, the former African champions dominated the game from the blast of the whistle and their effort paid off in the 4th with a goal from Amin El Amoud.
Jamal Harkass doubled the hosts’ lead in the 38th minute of the game before Yahia Attiyat Allah netted the 3rd goal in the 44th minute to end the first half with a comfortable lead.

The People’s Elephant tried to come back into the second half with a better intensity but they were unable to break down the well-organised Wydad defence as the game ended 3-0.
The Moroccan giants had earlier secured a favourable result from the first leg in Uyo, winning 1-0.
The result means Wydad qualified for the semi-final 4-0 over the two legs and will face Esperance of Tunisia in the last four.
