Thirteen persons died on Thursday from COVID-19 related complication in the country, bringing the death toll to 616 across 35 states and the FCT.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC disclosed this in its daily updates via its official twitter handle.

The health agency said Lagos State reported the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus on Thursday as Nigeria’s total burden of the disease hit 27, 110
According to NCDC, 626 new cases of the disease were recorded in 35 states including the FCT.
Lagos state topped the daily chat with 193 new cases while FCT came second with 85 new infections.
Others are: Oyo-41, Edo-38, Kwara-34, Abia-31, Ogun-29, Ondo-28, Rivers-26, Osun-21, Akwa Ibom-18, Delta-18, Enugu-15, Kaduna-13, Plateau-11, Borno-8, Bauchi-7, Adamawa-5, Gombe-4 and Sokoto-1.
Director General NCDC, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, said most of the cases are in people between the age of 20 to 40 years old, while the deaths are mostly 50 years and above.
