A Nigerian young football player, Collins Toshor has said he is using his present club, FC Sherdor of Uzbekistan as a springboard to reach some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
The 18-year old player who first arrived in Moscow before moving to Uzbekistan where he presently plays for the lower division club told Daily Trust in a telephone chat that he is determined to get big offers in Europe.
According to him, his performance in the ongoing Uzbekistan Cup matches is beginning to attract the attention of some of the bigger clubs.
He also said apart from having a successful professional career in Europe, his other dream is to play for the Flying Eagles from where he hopes to represent Nigeria at the senior level.
“At the moment, I am playing for a second division club, FC Sherdor in Uzbekistan. They are a modest side but very ambitious.
“I am using the club as a launching pad. Considering my potential, I am confident I will improve more and move on to play for bigger clubs in Europe.
“It has not been easy but I am determined to succeed in Europe and return home to play for Nigeria beginning from the national U-20 team,” he said.
