One annoying thing is the defection from the political parties that brought them into offices. This they do without considering what the electorate went through while campaigning and voting for them. Some were maimed and assaulted etc. While trying to satisfy their personal interest by defecting to the party at the centre; they hinged their decision on the need to attract federal presence in their various constituency/states. If that is the case it means we are not practising democracy in it proper sense. Why must that happen if we are talking about equity and equality as enshrined in our constitution.

Our politicians should stop thinking that we are all fools. So let no politician deceive us by their myopic and parochial thinking. They should all know that we see them as politicians whose consciences are on leave.
