Veteran Nigerian filmmaker, Chico Ejiro, who died in December last year, will be laid to rest on February 20.
The deceased’s brother, Zeb Ejiro, disclosed this to NAN while announcing the burial arrangements.
According to him, the burial is designed in line with COVID-19 protocols and would start with a service of songs to be held virtually on February 16.
Zeb said the deceased will be buried at the Ejiro’s compound, Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area of LGA of Delta State.
He said: “The obsequies, which is the service of songs for Chico my late brother ,will be a private family event which would also be on zoom.
“The arrangements are basically to bring the COVID-19 protocols to bear.
“We considered that throwing it open will pull crowd as people will want to be physically present, so we are taking advantage of the zoom for people to key-in.”
Ejiro had an impressive stint in the Nollywood before he passed away at 57 after suffering a seizure last year.
The ace movie producer, popularly known as Mr. Prolific, directed over 80 movies.
He is survived by a wife, children, siblings, uncles and cousins.
