Nigerian develops app to aid investigation, others

A computer wizard, Mohammad Aliyu, has developed a social media app known as ShapClick, which he claims will, among other things, aid security operatives in the investigation of crime.

Aliyu, at the launch of the app on Friday in Lagos, said the app was set to take over from other foreign developed platforms.

According to him, ShapClick is available on both App Store and Play Store for iPhone and Android users to download and register absolutely free.

Mr Hyacinth Chinweuba, the app developer’s spokesperson, said the app was solely created by Aliyu.

Chinweuba said ShapClick was an indigenous platform which enabled users to chat, make audio and video calls, have unrestricted number of group chats, as well shop for affordable and genuine products.
