Multichoice has disclosed its preparedness to host the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija (BBN) in Nigeria.
The cable service provider, who is also the organiser of BBN, the annual TV reality show, made this known on Tuesday in Lagos.
At the briefing heralding the auditioning of housemates slated for February 1 and 2, 2019, Multichoice Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer, John Ugbe, who was represented by the Senior Customer Officer, Martin Mabutho assured that this year edition will be of the same global standard with the previous editions.
“This year, we shall be hosting fourth edition of the BBNaija. The first edition was hosted in Nigeria. But after that we hosted the second edition in 2017 and the third edition in 2018 in South Africa. The new Big Brother Nails is however going to be hosted in Nigeria.
“We are assuring that this will be of the same global quality we are known with. Viewership recorded like never before, breaking all barriers,” the CEO said.
Similarly, the Channel Director of Africa Magic, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, said “as a platform that has consistently hunt and project young potentials, the 2019 edition will not disappoint its teeming followers with its package this year.”
