Team Nigeria has won nine gold and two silver medals to rank among the best at the just concluded Africa Gymnastic Level system in Pretoria, South Africa.

Those who won Gold medals for the country at the Centurion Guanteng – venue of the event – on Saturday are; Amal Salisu, Adila Salisu, Tamilore Galaticos Dorcas, Deval Liye Imoke and Voder Liye Imoke.

Other gold medalists are: Gerder Liye Imoke, Tomisin Babatunde and Emeka Ekezie.

The two silver medalists are Amal Salisu and Adila Salisu.

Head coach of Tony International Gymnastics,  who led the team to the competition, Tony Asuquo, said the kids have improved in their performance compared to their achievement in the last edition of the tournament.

Speaking on Sunday from South Africa, Asuquo thanked Nigerians and the Minister of Youth and Sports Solomon Dalung for his support in ensuring the growth of gymnastic in Nigeria.

"I thank God and Nigerians who stood by us especially parents of these Gymnast", he said. "More importantly, the Minister of sports Solomon Dalung for his drive in ensuring the growth of Gymnastic in Nigeria".

The Africa Gymnastic Level System is an annual inter club Gymnastic competition hosted by University of Pretoria, South Africa.
