The senatorial candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for Anambra Central, Princess Helen Mbakwe, has stressed the need to cut the cost of governance in Nigeria.
She said the cost of running a government was too high and must be reduced to achieve progress.
Princess Mbakwe stated this during an interactive session with members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, in Awka.
She said the best way to run the country was a drastic reduction in the cost of governance, especially now that the country was owing over N44trn.
