Nigeria needs more women needed in leadership – WIMBIZ

The Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has called for more representation of women in leadership positions in all spheres of life including governance to boost the economy amidst the challenge facing the country.

The Executive Director, WIMBIZ, Mrs Hansatu Adegbite, who made the call yesterday in Abuja said that now was the right time to give women a chance in leadership positions, especially in governance to change the business and economy narratives.

She said that the event being part of the WIMBIZ 2024 IWD Abuja event was with the theme: ‘Be Inspired, Be Included: Celebrating the Inclusivity of Women’.
