Niger gov takes 2nd jab of COVID-19 vaccine

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, has received the second jab of Oxford Astrazenica COVID-19 vaccine.

The governor, his deputy and members of the State Executive Council who were present at the Government House for the weekly council meeting received the vaccine.

Speaking after receiving the second jab, Governor Bello said the turnout for the first phase of the vaccine administration was impressive.

He encouraged those that had been administered the first dose to ensure they received the second jab while enjoining those who are yet to take the first dose to endeavour to do so because the vaccine is safe.
