The Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, on Wednesday, swore in seven newly appointed commissioners in the state.

They are to replace those who resigned their positions to contest in the forthcoming APC primaries.

Those sworn in are Abraham Umar (Gbako LGA), Muhammad Sani Lafiya (Kontagora LGA), Habila Daniel Galadima (Agwara LGA), Muhammad Usman Tinau (Chanchaga LGA), Yusuf Muhammad Bunu (Borgu LGA), Kabiru Abbas (Mariga LGA) and Musa Emmanuel Umaru (Tafa LGA).

The governor enjoined them to work hard and justify the confidence reposed in them.

In another development, the governor signed into law a bill to establish the “Niger State Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Agency 2022”.

The law seeks to provide access to potable water and improve sanitation facilities in local communities.
