The Niger State Working Committee (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the state assistant woman leader, Sayyada Amina Shehu for six months over an alleged appointment racketeering.
Musa D. Sarkinkaji, the state publicity secretary of the party, disclosed this in a statement Sunday.
He stated that the decision of the State Working Committee was in tandem with article 21 (5) xii of the APC constitution 2022 (as amended).
Sarkinkaji stated that the party had earlier set up a five-man committee headed by the state deputy chairman, Zakariyau Umar Raba, to investigate the matter.
