Niger State Government has said that seven suspected cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state are now in self-isolation.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Muhammad Makusidi, stated this after the state executive council’s meeting at the Government House in Minna.
The government said the cases in the state are not confirmed yet but some citizens of the State schooling in the UK, who returned three days ago, are in self-isolation.
“None of those in self-isolation have exhibited any sign or symptom of COVID-19,” according to the government.
The state government reassured the public that there had been no suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 in the state.
