Plan International, an NGO, has said it will support the Bauchi State Government to strengthen mental health units in 30 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across 10 LGAs.
Mr Mohammed Nasiru, the senior project coordinator of the NGO, disclosed this on Wednesday, saying that mental health was important in the various stages of human growth; from childhood to adolescence through to adulthood.

He said that the exercise would be conducted under a five-year ASPIRE Project in Bauchi State with funding from Global Affairs Canada.
Nasiru said that Bauchi, Gamawa, Dass, Kirfi, Jama’are, Darazo, Ningi, Misau, Toro and Katagum LGAs would benefit from the project. (NAN)
