A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Soroptimist International Group, has awarded scholarships to some indigent female students of Senior Secondary School, Gwarinpa Abuja.

Ten selected students of the school benefited from the gesture, weekend.

The Gwarinpa branch president of the organisation, Oby Obiekwe, at the event said the scholarship will boost girl child literacy and education.
