An NGO, We Care Foundation (WCF), has given learning materials and cash to 110 orphans and less privileged children to be enrolled in basic school in Alkaleri LGA of Bauchi State.

Speaking at the donation ceremony of the items in Gar District, the founder of WCF, Dr Jamila Muhammad, said the gesture was to support the children of the less privileged to pursue Western and Islamic education.

Dr Jamila, who is the Bauchi State Commissioner for Education, said the goal of the project was to complement the present administration’s efforts in the educational sector by enrolling dropouts and out-of-school children in both Western and Islamic schools.
