The Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care (GIPLC), with the support of Julius Rone, has donated over N50 million to fund critical surgeries for indigent children in Abuja.
The generosity is aimed at supporting vulnerable children with cancerous diseases and other health challenges, enabling them to access life-saving medical care.
The director-general and national coordinator of the GIPLC, Nuhu Kwajafa, while disbursing the fund in Abuja, said the initiative came from the 50th birthday celebration of Mr Rone, who decided to mark it by supporting the poor and vulnerable children who are unable to access health care due to financial incapacitation.
Kwajafa added that the organisation sought to stimulate sustainable and participatory community charity projects which cater for vulnerable children and women of Nigeria and the world in general.

He said although Mr Rone had the opportunity of partying to celebrate his 50th birthday like other privileged Nigerians, he decided to contribute to the survival of vulnerable children in various hospitals with different degrees of illnesses by paying their bills.
