A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Kidney Care and Transplant Foundation Trust, has donated consumables for dialysis of kidney patients at the Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Hospital in Kano, Kano State, to ease their.
The consumables were delivered by a delegation of the Foundation to the management of the hospital for onward distribution to the patients upon coming for the dialysis.
Speaking while handing over the consumables to the management of the hospital, the Chairman of the foundation, Arc Ibrahim Haruna, said the gesture was towards reducing the burden of kidney care in the country as dialysis drugs were expensive.
