The Commander 21 Special Armoured Brigade, Brigadier General Waidi Shaibu on Monday decorated the newly promoted officers of the Brigade with their new rank badges. The Commander was assisted by the Brigade Staff Officers.
Three officer of 21 SAB benefited from the recently approved promotion by the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya.
The beneficiaries are Captain SA Arakunle, Captain AA Adekunle and Captain EC Azih respectfully.

In his remarks, the Commander emphasised that the promotion was in recognition of hardwork, dedication, commitment to constituted authourity and professional excellent of the officiers. He urged them not to relent on their efforts and reminded them that to whom much is given, much is expected.
He however, reminded the officers that promotion comes with greater responsibilities and they should try their best to justify their elevation.
Other senior officers took turns to counsel the newly promoted officers.
Captain Seyi Arakunle who delivered vote of thanks on behalf of other promoted officers expressed his profound gratitude to the Almighty God for the sustenance and thanked the Chief of Army Staff for founding them worthy to be promoted to the rank of Captain in the Nigeran Army. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the Commander 21 Special Armoured Brigade for his guidance and mentorship. Captain Arakunle appreciated the Commanding Officers, officers commanding, Staff officers of 21 SAB and other invited guests who graced the occasion.
