A newborn baby has drowned in a well in Ruguzau community in Takai LGA of Kano State.
A statement on Tuesday by the spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, explained that, “We received an emergency call at 2:14pm from one Sabo Ladan that a baby’s body was found floating in a well.
“We immediately sent our rescue team to the scene. On arrival our men found a newborn baby in the well. The baby was brought out of the well unconscious and later confirmed dead.
