The remains of former Managing Director of New Nigerian Newspapers, Malam Tukur Abdurahman, has been buried at the Kofar Gabas cemetary in Daura after a funeral prayer held at the residence of Tafidan Saidu Abdurahman, an elder brother to the deceased.

The Chief Imam of Karkauku, Mahammed Aliyu Karkauku, who led the prayers prayed for the soul of the deceased and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Hundreds of sympathisers graced the prayers including top management of the New Nigerian Newspapers, Ambassador Muntari Yardaji, Ambassador Adamu Saidu and members of the Daura Emirate council.

Late Abdurahman died yesterday in Abuja at a private hospital at the age of 58. Born on December 12, 1960, he is survived by a wife and five children.
