The Managing Director of Rural Homes Limited, Sa’adetu Musa Aliyu, has called on the federal government to introduce subsidies for building materials to mitigate the rising costs in the real estate sector, adding that the new Karmo market will gulp over N5 billion.
Speaking to Daily Trust during an inspection tour of the new Karimo market project in Abuja Sunday, Aliyu emphasised the need for government intervention to stabilise the industry.

“The government should take decisive action to regulate prices in the real estate industry, particularly regarding building materials,” she stated.
The managing director said the N5 billion Karimo Market project, developed by Rural Homes Limited, covers 10 hectares and includes various facilities such as shops, warehouses and modern infrastructure.
