The newly appointed Head of Service in Kano state, Dr Kabir Shehu, has tasked workers in the state public service on punctuality.
A statement signed by his Public Relations Officer, Ismail Gwammaja, said public servants must wake up to their responsibilities.
According to the statement, “the present administration resolved to reinvigorate service delivery to high standard to suit the current IT globalisation agenda.”
It further revealed that the new head of service had pledged to open his doors to objective criticisms and advice for the development of the civil service in the state.
However, the statement advised public workers to be proactive in discharging their civic engagements and in promoting team work.
Shehu, in the statement, commended the state governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, for bringing him on board to contribute to the growth of the state.
