The newly redeployed Customs Area Controller for the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Michael Awe, has assumed office, promising to facilitate legitimate trade at the command.
Mr Awe took over from Mr Yusuf Mohammed at a brief handing over ceremony on Wednesday at the command’s headquarters in Ikeja.
He promised to build on the successes of the past controller.

Speaking earlier, Mr Mohammed said the command generated N45.23bn from importers at the airport between January and March, 2024.
