New chair, non-executive director for explorations firm

Thor Explorations Limited has appointed Adrian Coates as its non-executive chairman with immediate effect.

Also appointed to strengthen its board, according to a statement, is Mr. Collin Ellison as a non-executive director.

Coates was the chairman of the company’s audit committee since February 2017.

The firm said Coates joined it’s board as a non-executive director in December 2016.

Commenting on Ellison, the firm said he has a wealth of experience in mine construction and project implementation and had built a number of mines around the world, including significant experience in building mines in West Africa.

During his career, Ellison had built and operated resource projects and companies in Africa, Australia, S.E. Asia, Central Asia and North America.

The President & CEO of the company, Segun Lawson said: “I am delighted that Coates has assumed the position as chairman of Thor.

“I am also delighted to welcome Collin to Thor’s Board. His particular skill set is very relevant to the task immediately ahead of us at Segilola.”
