The Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare, represented by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Ismaila Abubakar, said constituting the boards was to re-invigorate them in line with the federal government’s desire to re-position sports for effective service delivery and progressive agenda for job and wealth creation for Nigerian teeming youths.

He expressed his delight at the election processes while imploring the federations to make Nigeria proud in the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

“I wish to express my delight at the report of the electoral committee that the election followed democratic principles of being free, fair and credible. I implore the Federations that will be participating in the 2022 commonwealth games to make Nigeria proud,” he said.

He further urged the board members to lift the para-sports to enviable heights while writing their names in gold.
