The federal government has reached an advanced stage of setting up special medical economic zones in Katsina, Lagos, Ilorin and three other states, said Managing Director of Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), Prof. Adesoji Adesugba.
He stated this when he received the Country Manager, Africa Department, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Eme Essien Lore, in Abuja.

The NEPZA head said every region in Nigeria would benefit from the special medical zones.
He invited the private sector to invest in Special Economic Zones in Nigeria to great jobs and generate wealth.
Lore in her remarks, said IFC would assist NEPZA to set up a world-class framework for free export processing zones.
She said the collaboration with the Authority would assist Nigeria to ramp up exports and boost Nigeria’s economy.
