NEDC donates relief materials to Boko Haram victims

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has donated relief items to displaced persons affected by the recent Boko Haram insurgency in Geidam local government area of Yobe State.

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the commission, Mohammed Alkali, presented the items while commiserating with the victims on Saturday in Damaturu.

Alkali said the activities of the insurgents have in the last few years frustrated the peace and development of the region.
