NDPHC to add 2,000MW to grid from 4 plants

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) said it has started a fresh move that will complete four power plants that could add 2,000 megawatts (MW) to the national grid.

The plants built under the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP) are in Alaoji in Abia State; Egbema in Imo State; Omoku in Rivers, and Gbarain in Bayelsa State.

Rockson Engineering Company Limited which handled the projects earlier had them stalled leading to the contracts’ cancellation.
