The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has discovered a pop-corn laced with cannabis and being circulated in Bayelsa State by drug dealers.
The Bayelsa State Commander of the (NDLEA), Mr Kupi Maulsei, who disclosed this while speaking as a guest on the programme in a state-based radio station, Rythm FM in Yenagoa over the weekend, said intake of hard drugs is a primary cause of crimes in the society.

He said the uncovered pop-corn laced with cannabis is a new way to consume and patronise illicit substance unnoticed perpetrated by drug dealers and addicts in the state.
Commander Maulsei said the Malian popcorn was discovered in Amassoma in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State and the suspect has already been arrested.
