The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Edo State said it arrested 252 suspected drug dealers and traffickers between January and September, 2023.
The NDLEA Commander in the state, Buba Wakawa, disclosed this to City & Crime yesterday through the state’s spokesman of the agency, Ondoimi Bebetu.
He said, “From January till date, NDLEA has arrested 252 suspected drug traffickers and peddlers. Some of them have been jailed, some are still in court while others have been counselled.”

He explained that in fighting against drug traffickers, the agency liaised with the police, army, DSS and other sister agencies to carry out periodic raids in hotels and event centres.
