NDLEA destroys 15 hectares of hemp in Ogun

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has destroyed 15 hectares of Indian hemp farm at Imosa in Ijebu-East LGA of Ogun State.

The exercise was carried out under the supervision of the state’s Commissioner for Forestry, Engr Taiwo Oludotun; the state’s Commander of NDLEA, Mrs Archie- Abia Ibinabo; and the Chief Security Adviser (CSA) to the state governor and the Commander of the state’s security outfit, Amotekun Corps.

Ibinabo, who noted that the agency got wind of the plantation from members of the public, said they would continue to perform their responsibilities in line with the law, applauding the efforts of men and officers of the Directorate of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the police for their cooperation.
