The National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Yobe state directorate has flagged off training of 508 youths into various empowerment scheme.
The NDE state coordinator Misbahu Dauda Mohammed announced this on Thursday while unveiling the orientation of 100 youths into Sustainable Agricultural Development Training Scheme (SADTS) in Damaturu.

According to him the training were conducted in tranches piloted with the National Open Apprenticeship Scheme (B-NOAS) which targeted 340 unemployed persons across the 17 local governments.
He noted that under the scheme the apprentices would undergo three months skills in bag making, confectionery,GSM repair, fashion design, as well as computer application.
