NDE trains 50 graduates on ‘start-own business’ in Gombe

The National Directorates of Employment (NDE) has commenced a five-day training of 50 graduates under the Start Your Own Business (SYOB) project in Gombe state.

Speaking at the flag off Wednesday in Gombe, Director General of the agency, Alhaji Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, said the SYOB is entrepreneurship development training targeted at unemployed graduates of universities and other higher institutions of learning.

Represented by the NDE State Coordinator in Gombe, Malam Hassan Mustapha, he said the essence of the training is for the graduates to know how to develop a business idea, write a visibility plan to secure loans either from government or financial institutions.
