The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Plateau State has commenced training of 30 unemployed youths on environmental beautification.
Speaking during the commencement of the training in Jos, the state Coordinator of NDE, Malam Ibrahim Hardo Abdulazeez, said the programme was aimed at making the youths employable and self-reliant.
He said, “The three-month training on soft landscaping, hard landscaping and Plaster of Paris (POP) will enable the youths contribute their own quota to national development, be useful to themselves and society.”
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Silas Enoch appreciated the scheme for giving them opportunity to be part of the training, saying it would help them achieve something.
