NDE trains 132 youths, women in Taraba

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE)  in Taraba state, has commenced  training of 132 youths and women  under its sustainable Agricultural development training skills.(SADTS) and environmental beautification training scheme, Jalingo.

Taraba State coordinator, of NDE, Alhaji Iliya Yakubu Illela, said while addressing participants  that the training programme  will last for three months.

He said the  training was under the Directorate’s job creation programme which was designed to make unemployed youth self-employed.

Alhaji Illela, who represented NDE, Director General, Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, said the programme was intensive and it would enable participants learn various skills and new farming Technics.

He explained that other participants would be taught environmental beautification skills which is of high demand among residents.
