Elders’ Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikot Ekpene/Obot Akara/Essien Udim Federal Constituency has urged support for Mr. Nsima Ekere as the Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The forum, in a message of felicitation signed by 27 of its members and made available to newsmen in Abuja, urged stakeholders in the South-South region to rise above ethnic or partisan affiliation and support the nomination of Ekere by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The forum described Mr. Ekere’s nomination as a demonstration of his capacity and the trust the president has in his ability to deliver on his mandate.
In a related development, the forum also felicitated with Mr. Samuel Frank on his nomination as the Commissioner to represent Akwa Ibom State in the commission.
Among those who signed the statement were three former Members of the House of Representatives, Dr. Prince David Nyong, Abom Tony Esu and Mr. Patty Etete Ineme.
