In a bid to make pilgrimage accessible to all Nigerians, the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC) said has opened new special offices in addition to the six existing zonal offices across the country.
The Executive Secretary of the commission, Rev. Tor Uja in a statement said that the reason for the creation of the special metropolitan zone is to reduce challenges people might have when planning to embark on pilgrimage.
The newly created metropolitan offices are: Abuja metropolitan office, Asaba Gombe, Kano, Lagos, Awka, Portharcourt and Sokoto.
He said the Commission has moved its South West Zonal office from Lagos to Ibadan, South South zonal office from Yenagoa to Uyo, North Central office has been moved back to Makurdi from Gwagwalada.
