The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), has deployed Ibrahim Ndaaba Idris to its FCT Command as the new Controller of Corrections.
In a press statement by the Corrections Public Relations Officer, FCT Command, Assistant Superintendent of Corrections, Adamu Samson Duza, said the change is a sequel to the posting of senior officers of the service by the Controller General of Corrections, Haliru Nababa.
While handing over, the outgoing Controller of Corrections, Isah Mohammed Hamisu, who is now posted to Zonal Headquarters Kaduna, appreciated officers and men of the Command for their support during his stay and enjoined them to give the same support to the incoming Controller.
In his remarks, the new Controller thanked the Controller General for finding him worthy to head FCT Command and urged staff of the command to be disciplined and up and doing in the discharge of their duties, while seeking their unflinching support in his administration to realize the service’s mandate in FCT.

Idris, until his deployment, was in charge of discipline and was the Provost Marshal at National Headquarters Abuja.
