Dr. Abdulkareem Adedokun, the branch chairman said in an interview shortly after a lecture as part of activities to mark 2013 law week in Zaria: “One of the challenges facing us in Zaria is the issue of decorum among lawyers. In the legal profession we have a code called rules of professional conduct. Now, we are going to implement this code to the letter. We have had an understanding with members of the bench before arriving at this resolution.
“We agreed that any lawyer that does not adhere strictly to the rules of professional conduct should be penalised in the way prescribed by the said rules”.
