The National Association of Women Entrepreneurs (NAWE) has congratulated Senator Remi Tinubu over the emergence of her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the President of Nigeria.
NAWE said it does not only celebrate Mrs Tinubu as the First Lady, but also that its Patron has “added another feather to its colour for emerging the mother of all women in the country.”
In a statement on Wednesday, President of NAWE, Barr. Vera Ndanusa specifically lauded the the president’s wife for the key roles she play that led to the victory of her husband.
“She and her team traversed the length and breadth of the country during the tasking campaign. And before the campaign , she created an enabling environment at the home front for peace and tranquility, which gave Asiwaju peace of mind at home, a virtue that gave the President the wherewithal to be able to go into the campaign, battle ready,” Ndanusa said.
She said Mrs Tinubu had over the years championed the growth and development of young people in the country irrespective of their religious or ethnic affiliations.
Ndanusa urged the First Lady to use her office to help drive the activities of NAWE.
