National Assembly resumes today

The Senate is set to consider nine bills today as the National Assembly resumes from over two weeks Sallah Break. Our correspondent report that both chambers of the National Assembly had embarked on the break on the 15th of last month. 

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Senator Baba Kaka Bashir Garbai told our correspondent that the reports of four committees on bills are expected to be considered today.

Two of the reports are going to be presented by the chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND, Senator Jibrin Barau (APC, Kano) on the bill on the Federal University of Maritime Studies Oron and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) amendment bill.
