NASU strike: UNIOSUN insists on ‘no work, no pay’ rule

The Vice Chancellor of Osun State University, Osogbo, Professor Labode Popoola, has said staff of the university who joined the nationwide by Non Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) would not be paid salaries for the period of strike.

The Chairman of NASU, UNIOSUN branch, Comrade Isaiah Fayemi, told Daily Trust that non-teaching staff of the university had joined the strike.

The vice chancellor said attendance registers had already been opened for workers to ensure that they to go back to work.

He said the workers were not appreciative of receiving their full salaries promptly when some categories of workers were earning modulated salaries.
