NASS speaker: Gbajabiamila has wide support – Imo Rep-elect

House of Representatives member-elect for Nkwerre/Nwangeke/Njaba/Isu Federal Constituency, Ugonna Ozurigbo, has said the choice of Femi Gbajabiamila as the speaker of the 9th assembly cuts across party lines.

Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Ozurigbo said that since Gbajabiamila is not only the choice of the All Progressives Congress (APC), but also that of President Muhammadu Buhari, members were duty bound to respect that.

Ozurigbo, who is also the deputy speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, claimed 162 new members-elect were all supporting Gbajiabiamila.
