Na’Allah, in an exclusive interview with Sunday Trust yesterday in Birnin Kebbi said the intention of the police to besiege the National Assembly was to allow few members to sit and approve extension of the state of emergency in Adamawa,Borno and Yobe states.
“It is crystal clear that the intention was to block Tambuwal from gaining access to the chamber so that few members would sit and approve the state of emergency.
“This conduct is unprofessional and un-officer like. What it has succeeded in doing is to further widen the gap of mistrust between the public and the Nigerian police which has very serious implications for our survival as a country,” he said.
