A faith-based not-for-profit organisation, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has congratulated Mr Olaniyi Mumini Yusuf, who was elected as the chairman, Board of Directors of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), on Tuesday in Abuja.
In a statement, the group said, Yusuf sits on the boards of over a dozen companies and is also the president of NASFAT.
He is to take over from Asue Ighodalo, a renowned corporate leader.
He had previously served as vice chairman and champion of the Science and Technology Policy Commission of NESG for many years.
NESG is a private sector-led think-tank established by the Chief Ernest Shonekan-led Interim National Government (ING) in 1993.
“NASFAT is particularly elated because Yusuf, who is presently leading the society, has meritoriously served in affiliated organs of the society in many capacities.
“The society felicitates with him for the good reputation he has earned and is proud of him for achieving excellence in every endeavour he has served,” the faith-based group stated.
